Clay Dot Powder

I took up Cowboy Action Shooting this year. I have been using Clays powder for the shotgun and for the 38special loads. Can I use ClayDot instead of Clays without changing anything? If I'm loading 2.9 gr of Clays in the 38 sp can I use 2.9 gr of ClayDot? Alliant doesn't show any loading data for ClayDot in 38sp. Is there another Alliant powder that would work in both of them? I would rather use Alliant powders because that is what is available locally. I am loading 7/8 ounce in the 12 Ga. Thanks

For all intensive purposes, ClayDot was designed to equal Clays - I switched due to price and use the same load for my target shotgun loads

Looks like it's available only in 8# jugs though. How much .38 do you shoot?
