LINCOLN -- Now that Nebraska has a law allowing persons to carry concealed weapons, it needs to clarify exactly when someone can use a gun in self-defense.
That was the message delivered Tuesday by gun-rights advocates to a state legislative committee.
State Sen. Mark Christensen of Imperial said he’s planning to introduce legislation that would grant immunity from civil lawsuits or criminal prosecution to people who use deadly force after being threatened at home or in their vehicle.
