Yeah I'd be tempted to buy both. It's only money.

My CZ Scorpion costed more than either of those Colts. I shoot the crap out of it.

I have one that I bought before the Trump Killary election. Put all the goodies on it but still have not shot it. I like pretending to be a Seal team clearing my garage

Can't be a cowboy without getting on a horse and riding for 16 hours a day chasing broken fences, lost cows, eating lots of dust, getting wet from rain, having a horse throw you, getting stomped, bit and kicked by a surley hayburner. All for minimum wages. Sound like fun?
That’s too much work for my soft hand!!! lol

If you can get a deal on them I would buy them and shoot them! I bought a new old stock colt signature series that never been fired, I shoot it often, I devalued it but oh well I'm having fun!
I’m not worried about Value. Got 2 houses for my investment! Well lately it’s tanked

Same here, but good luck finding one for $1200. OP wants a shooter and IMO the $1200 one could theoretically be a bargain for that purpose.
I have a Colt 2nd Generation, an ASM "Hartford Model," and a whole bunch of Ubertis. The quality is comparable, and they are all equally good as shooters. The reason the Colt stands out is the name, and collectability. If you just want a shooter, get an Uberti or a Pietta for 1/3 the price.

Yeah, but some people like real Colts, real Harleys, and real Ferraris. There's always something "just as good for 1/3 the price."

a real cowboy shoots a Colt! a Fancy Cowboy Shots a Fancy Colt

Do they have the original boxes? We all know the boxes triple the value.

How about the original cartons they shipped in? Should quadruple it!

The collective has given the buy sign. (When don't they?) Hopefully they are still available.

a few days in Vegas and I’ll check to see if they got it still. Might call tomorrow to hold the gun on a CC and pay cash when I get back

So you guys got me Jazzed up on the Pimp Colt.

called the shop asked for $1400 and will put a hold on it with my CC. Consignment person will get back to me

Well...when I bought my Colt SAA in 2014, $1,200 for one NIB was a decent deal. And I don't think the prices have gone down any.

Buying a SAA isn't a matter of "need"...it's a "want". And I've always been of the opinion that if a person wants something, and they can afford it, then have at it.

If these are in as good a condition as they look, then I'd say the prices are reasonable.

Oh sure! Tell him all the good stuff! Why any young buck wouldn’t want to cowboy is beyond me. Continuing to cowboy? Well, there’s the rub.
