I own a blued Viper and a nickel Viper. The blued is very smooth, like a Diamondback. A real joy to shoot. For some reason the nickel gun is not as smooth; more like a MKIII.
I have a Colt Detective Special that I assume is an undiscovered species of snake that will skyrocket in value once the biological classification of the revolver is studied and reclassified
I only own one snake gun from Colt, a six inch SS Anaconda. I like it, every bit as accurate as the S&W model 29 I used to own but honestly it is far less pleasant to shoot than the 29 was. The Anaconda has much more felt recoil. Lately I have been kicking the idea around about selling it to fund a S&W 629, or a Ruger Super Redhawk.
Though I've never specifically looked to collect the snakes, I have owned most of them at one time or another, including the Viper and the 22 Cobra.
Those I've missed include the Boa and the Combat Cobra. Both very difficult to find.
