Cas Taylor, the speaker of the MD House, was unelected last season
Its time to form the Quorum to Quarter Quinter

A meeting to discuss implementation of short- (2004)
and long-term (2006) strategies against Delegate Quinter
will be held at the HQ of the Howard County Republican
Central Committee on Wednesday, November 19th.

Delegate Quinter is sponsoring the "assault weapons"
ban in the Maryland House. He is a former aid to
Senator Diane Feinstein, and the acorn doesn't fall
far from the tree. No need to tell you how the Brady
Bunch is poised to both embarrass our governor and to
cost him votes. Bob Ehrlich was one of the members of
Congress who voted against the 1994 federal "assault
weapons" ban, and the shrinking band of gun banners
is now collapsing about Maryland where they plan to
circle their wagons.

If you've been at this any amount of time, you know
the score. If the NRA rears its head, our enemies
will rise from the dead, and our friends will figure
it's safe to go bowling.

We know differently.

Colorado and Missouri were stunning victories for
gun owners in 2003. If an "assault weapon" ban can't
be passed in a state owned by the socialists, then
the Brady crowd will continue their decline into
national irrelevancy. They need a win in Maryland.

For the good of the nation, we need to hand them
their heads.

The meeting will be held on the second floor conference
room (203) of 5550 Sterrett Place across from the
Columbia Mall off Little Patuxent Parkway.

The location is easily reached from U.S. 29 North by
exiting at the Broken Land Parkway exit about two exits
north of MD 32 and heading west toward the Columbia
Mall (the Merriweather Post Pavilion exit). Coming
south on U.S. 29, you may take the Columbia Town Centre
exit (1st exit south of MD 108) and follow it several
blocks to Sterrett Place (on your left just before the
Exxon station), or you may take the South Entrance Road
(first exit south of the Town Centre exit) and backtrack
north at Little Patuxent Parkway to turn right into
Sterrett Place.

I will put the MCDL sign in the 2nd floor window.

If you have maps of Howard County and/or legislative
districts, please bring them. We may need them to
identify areas for lit drops.

We may also have post cards for you to take home and
mail from the Zip Code of your choice.

The meeting will last from 7:00 to NLT 8:30 (I have
to pick up my son at that time.) People who are good
at stapling, folding, labeling, and stamping will be
most welcome.

I can't promise anything (looking for a new job and working on my graduate classes mean I have little or no time for other things sometimes- I haven't been shooting in weeks), but I'll try my best to be there. Even if I can't I'd love to help out. Is there a phone number to call to volunteer (I'll do what I can to help)?
