I am considering buying a Savage model 12 (VLP) in 300wsm and suppressing it with a Thunder Beast Ultra 9. I will use my SS-16 scope that I already own.

My goal with this firearm is very good accuracy with little fuss (factory ammo).

Looking for advice before making this purchase...

I don't have any personal experience with Thunderbeast and I don't do any long-range rifle shooting myself, but from talking to guys who do competitive long-range shooting, virtually all the top-level shooters use Thunderbeast cans. They're considered by most of those guys to be THE silencer to get if you're looking for max accuracy out of your rifle.

I don't have that can but an older 30P-1. They make a top quality product that they really stand behind. I got an adapter stuck in mine (not their fault - bad threading on the adapter) and they took care of it and had my can back to me within about 10 days including making me the proper adapter.
