Hi,
Just picked up a contender barrel in 7mm TCU. It came along with a set of three barrels I got at an auction. Don't know to much about the cartridge and I will have to do some research on it for sure. My question I have is it has no sights on it. There are tapped holes at the front and rear of the barrel where it looks like a open sight set was mounted. I would like to get a set of fiber optic open sights for it. I would need a ramp and rear sight and a ramp and post for the front I take it? How do I find the right one to match the holes that are already there. Is that pretty much standard? Thanks
Mike

I haven't looked at a TC catalog in a while but that would be the first place I would look and then Brownell's. it also depends upon what you are going to use the 7 mm TCU for. to me to take full advantage of the round I would put a 2 x EER Leupold pistol scope on it. it is a very easy to shoot , accurate and flat shooting for a handgun round

Lots of 223 brass out there cheap, that 7 TCU really was cats meow, for knocking down steel targets, a friend of mine killed alot of Deer with it.14 inch barrel,i have 3 barrels my self, not in 7tcu,
I have 221, in 10 in. 223 in 21 in, and 30 Herrett, in 12 in,I love to get a 21 in.Barrel 6mm TCU,

I would call T/C; they've always helped me out with things like that.

E. A. Brown Company has a lot of Contender stuff. You might want to put a scope on it to take advantage of the accuracy of 7TCU. What other barrels did you get? Be careful, they are addictive.

Thanks guys! I took your advice and put a scope base on the 14" barrel. Brownells had them in stock. Now I am scope shopping and also looking for more barrels. Guess I am already hooked.
