Nobody owes you nothing, no matter how you try to spin it. Ya sound more like a manipulative shyster, man up and work some extra overtime to buy your own rifle. Or just go without! Develop some dignity and morals while your earning the money to buy a rifle , if I can save the money for the bike in my avatar, then you can do the same for a rifle.

I have 4 Daughters’ so check it out . About 15 years ago I gave number one son in law a nice Remington 700 30-06 I had for many years right, so shortly there after she decided to dump the guy !! geez Louis ya could had said something I thought, anyway the brutal truth is SIL’s come and go but Daughters are forever so if a guy really wants it maybe have the wife ask .

The story gets better.
a couple years ago SiL number four inquired about a 41 mag i had sitting around, well I thought quickly and replied that I had sold it but when my Daughter asked about a Kimber 45 I told her no problem.
