I have a Rossi 92 chambered in 454 Casull. To date she (Miljoner) has around 50 rounds of 45 colt cowboy loads and 5 rounds of full power 454 loads threw her. After changing the sights to a Skinner peep and cleaning up the action I noticed a crack in the stock. The crack in located under the tang runs about 1.5" in length. If one looks at the attached picture it gives a better idea of what I am talking about. The wood is too this to drill and glue so I was thinking about flexing the wood ever so slightly so I can drip the glue in it then clamp it for a day or two. If anyone has any experience with a repair like this you advice is greatly welcome. Also what type of glue would be best used (I was thinking about Titebond III since its waterproof and I have it on hand). Thanks in advance.
