I have been looking for one of these for a while. Finally saw one at the local LGS. I wanted the .223 version because I have a large stash of that for my AR's. The stock isn't as nice as some I have seen but on the plus side it's the newer 1:9 twist version :D . I hope to take it out later this weekend.

Nice! I'm a big fan of the 527 platform. They are just the right size for the .223 round, have a great action, great trigger, are very accurate, and just a joy to operate and shoot. I predict you're going to like it. :)

Very nice. I'd personally like one of those in 7.62x39 - cheap larger caliber (than .223) ammo out of a simple, classic bolt action rifle.

.
The 527 Carbine is such a sweet-handling piece. I have one in 7.62 X 39. I appreciate it more every time I pick it up. It is an accurate firearm, too.

Looking forward to seeing what you think after you shoot with it. Congratulations!

I have been looking for one in 7.62x39mm for a few years now. Here in Alaska they are seldom seen for sale... I wish they would have used a standard flush magazine...

7.62 x 39

I bought one in above caliber and LOVE it.

Took it to range yesterday and was punching clay birds [ on backstop ] at 120 yards and it was too cool.

Did scope it and remember that if you do,look at the taller scope mounts as the short one will not let you clear the bolt from the scope.

VERY happy with mine, hope your's is as accurate & as much fun to shoot.

Might take it deer hunting this year.

I'll be honest, I enjoy my x39 527 a lot more than my AR and really wouldn't mind having one in 223, especially if they come in 1:9 as you said.

I have wanted one in .223 for along time. Yes 1/9 makes it more attractive. I figure I have a Marlin 336 carbine in .30-30 that will do anything a 7.62x39 bolt gun will do, so I want something else.

I built a Pistol Grip stock for a friends 527 carbine a while ago.
I love that rifle, and it is on my wish list as soon as I sell some of the other stuff I don't shoot.
I built the stock with a spare Magazine holder in the bottom of the stock for a quick magazine change, and to make it more versitle as a survival rifle.
Feel free to contact " Armoredman " if you want opinions on the rifle itself or the new stock.

Just got my third CZ, a 527 in .22 Hornet. Sold an AR to fund it. I am addicted to accuracy and this AR was a shorty made more for mag dumps than hitting the same spot every time

FWIW the wood on this last one is plain as it gets. Still, it's worth it for the accuracy. Plenty of pretty guns won't shoot

I wasn't sure which CZ 527 thread to bump so I picked this one. New for 2015, CZ is releasing a youth model of the 527 carbine, in 223 and 7.62x39.

LOP is 12.75" and the stock size is reduced in all dimensions according to CZ. I really want to pick one of these up in 7.62x39 and leave the scope off. It would be a fun rifle to walk around with while deer huntig. It certainly won't have the range or knockdown power of my 308 with 1-4x scope, but none of the past five deer I've shot has been more than 80 yards away...

Between these new 527 models and the very new Howa mini-action I feel that we are in the golden age of miniature bolt action rifles.

Have one in 762x39, hands down my favorite long gun. Got a fixed 4x Nikon for it and there's just no missing with the little demon. So easy to handle and hit with, I just call it "the cheater".
