i have had or have about every 9mm out there and most all of them were good. I recently gave up the sig p226 for a Beretta 92 but just picked up the CZ75B and this thing is sweet. Very smooth and very tight groups.
This gun impressed me and was cheaper then most of the others.
I highly recommend !!

I'm a fairly recent convert myself. I always had an interest in CZ pistols based on things I had read, but they are fairly uncommon to find for sale around my area. Around a year ago , maybe a little bit more, I found an SP-01 for sale locally and reasonably priced. That gun is amazing, and long story short.. the only two pistols I've been able to afford since have both been CZs. Most recent was a 97b bought just a few weeks ago on this forum. Beautiful gun.

The only "problem" w/ the CZ is that as mopre and more folks learn about them the price has been slowly creeping up

My "wish list" has a CZ-75B Shadow on it. I shot one at the range and I liked it better than the modded Glocks, Springfields, and S&W's.

I picked up my first 75 in the early 80s and have acquired a few more since. No matter what I shoot, I keep returning to the 75s.

CZ is a shooters tool. Typically, it only takes trying one out to "understand". They can be modded and tuned to such a degree nowdays, that it's hard to believe the difference between an out-of-the-box CZ compared to a one that has been tuned and smoothed.

Love mine and plan to get more! That's the problem, you can't just have one :(

Love my 75 SA. Almost bought a 40P yesterday, but the price was out of line. Might still see if I can get the owner, a store, to come down.

Love my PCR. It is my beside and glove box gun. 14-rounds of SA/DA bliss that has never had a failure of any kind.

I dropped in a much lighter trigger spring that makes it just SO sweet!:D

@ Lone Haranguer: I did the same thing. Started with a CZ82, then discovered PCR. I liked it well enough that I started looking for a 75BD...longer sight radius and the heft of a steel frame, with the same operation and ergonomics as the PCR. One for compact carry, the other a great range gun, and I don't have to think about transitioning from one gun to the other. Great choice...but you already know that. Love my CZs.

I truly believe they make fine guns.
Like schmeky and chris in va said above, some have some small glitches that can be easily smoothed out to end up with a superior bang for the buck.

But for carry it a fully loaded 75 is just to damn heavy for me...

That's why CZ makes the lightweight allor framed 75D PCR, P-01, and polymer framed P-07, and SP-01 Phantom.

Don't you know about these?
