CZ52. What Surplus ammo should I Not run in it?

"The dangerous ammo is Bulgarian, but with a distinctive pink box."

The "warning" is actually for a pink paper 16-rnd. packet, but if you read the label you will see that it is not dangerous "Proof" ammo that somehow escaped the factory. The ammo in the warning is standard ball ammo. Some batch of it might have been affected by poor storage or some other issue, but it is not all "blow-up-your-gun-ammo" as implied in the internet warning. The pink paper of the packet has absolutely no loading significance, and that exact same ammunition can be found in a few different colored packets, yet I have only seen "warnings" for the pink.

Jonny, is that the Chinese stuff in the yellow box, with 70 to a box? It was marked non-corrosive and it seemed like new production. Not sure if it was true surplus or not. I had twenty boxes of the stuff but my Broomhandle ate em. I see it from time to time at the local shows

What's a CZ-52 worth these days? I remember when they were $99.99 around 2000 but I didn't buy one (or several) back then.

I haven't seen any go on Gun broker go for less than $250 in the last several months.

Some with the full kit, 2 mags and holster in excellent shape are fetching $350 pretty much all the time.

Tark, that's it, as well as other packaging. I think the yellow boxes are 60 rnds., tan military boxes have 70.

I recently was shocked to see a couple of CZ52s for sale for over $300!

The one I picked up last month was $300 even, it came with one mag and no accessories. But it looks like it has been shot little, if at all. Pristine.
