I appreciate everyone's perspective on whether or not to have the transfer bar upgrade done. I think at this point I will not. The trigger pull is so nice on this gun, and I'm not going to carry it. (I'm just a "go to my local indoor range once in a while " kind of guy.) I will do the load one, skip one, load four thing - partly for safety, and partly for the single action experience. I do appreciate the many warnings about the inherent "risk" of the design.
In my 60s now. Enjoyed shooting / reloading most of my life. Nice to have something new to learn / practice.
