I went deer hunting for the first time last year with a shotgun and I am hooked! I'd like to use a muzzle loader this year. (longer season :D ) I see Thompson Center mentioned a lot. It would be very helpful to me if someone could spell out the differences between the Encore, Triumph and Omega? Their web site doesn't seem to have a compare feature. Thanks.

The Encore is based on TC's switch barrel receiver design and has a pivoting hammer.
The Triumph is a break action with an alloy receiver and a speed breech plug that's removable with a simple twist.
The Omega is a dedicated fixed barrel muzzle loader with an exposed hammer.
It has a pivoting breech but not the speed breech plug.
The Omega’s unique action operates by using the forward motion of the trigger guard lever to pivot the breech block downward, allowing easy access to the 209 primer pocket. Once primed, the lever is pulled rearward, raising the breech block and sealing the breech. This closed breech design seals the 209 primer away from rain, snow or sleet.
