Guys,

Need a little help. I need to sell my "like new" Dillon 550B set up. In this case "Like New" means this press has been pulled less than 50 times with the 45 ACP dies. The other two powder measure, caliber conversion kits and dies have not been touched. I have 3 powder quick change set ups and 3 caliber conversion kits. Calibers are 45ACP, 9mm and 223.

I have attached some pics. Can anyone help with what they think a fair price would be?

Im not selling here just asking for advice on price.

Please keep comments constructive.

Greetings
Well you have a "near new machine". I read your add and the idea to sell at Dillon price minus 20% seems OK by me.
Dillon has the best garentee I know about for life.
I would go to the Dillon site, get the current price and list your price. If no one buys then your a bit to high.

If it is that new, I would ask pretty close to MSRP (maybe 10% off), and offer free shipping. I bet it will go pretty quickly at that price.

Maybe offer the extra powder measures and caliber conversions separately, as most people won't want to pay extra to get those (but others who have been loading a year or so will). Those, you might offer at a 20-25% discount.

If someone buys the press, offer him the other stuff, but if he doesn't take them, they will still sell.

Great advice guys!! I'll post this stuff up on Tuesday or Wednesday when I have the time to research the pricing.

When Dillon had a huge backlog, you could have sold it for new pricing. Not sure if they have caught up or not. Shipping is going to be expensive.

I placed an order with Dillon on Monday and their web site indicated that all 550B items were in stock. Received my items 2 days after I placed my order.

Hold on to it until the next scare and sell it for 3 or 4 times what you paid for it.
