My 22 year old Dillon 550 finally needed a nylon shoulder washer that the rod on the powder dump goes through. It gets a little abuse each time I swap powder in the hopper and finally got in bad shape. I e-mailed Dillon with the part number and ask for the price + shipping, got a reply today saying the warranty part was shipped.
The wear was not a fault of the part at all, I like these people!

Mega Ditto. I broke the bent rod that pushes back the primer feed-bar on my XL750. I called Dillon and before I knew it...a new one showed up in my mail a few days later. No charge...
Nice people as well.

Here is one better:
Besides having two Dillon 550Bs and a Dillon vibratory case cleaner, I have a large case/media separator. Had them for years, moved from West Coast to East Coast and back. The last time I went to use the separator I found the large collection tub had cracked. A couple of emails, they asked for photos which I provided, and lo and behold one arrived by UPS.
We are talking big for free.

Funny, I have the same same tub, mine has a crack/hole in the corner. Feel a little guilty asking Dillon for another one. My fault I dropped it. :)
When the time comes I'll just pony up and purchase one. They've been to good to me over the years

Many years ago, I worked at a gun store and was a Dillon dealer. When I called them to make an order, they would tell me that a part or two would be free. Such as when I would give a part from a demo machine to a customer that said that he had a loader that had something broken. They said that's what they wanted me to do. Since then, I've had an issue or two with my own 550B. After a call, the necessary parts would arrive shortly free of charge.

Is it possible to epoxy the crack? Maybe use a section of a beer/soda can if the hole is kinda big?

I have been a customer of theirs for more than three decades, I wondered how long they could keep their No BS, forever (doesn’t matter if you are the 100th owner of said machine) warranty.

I see now it’s buy raising prices of new machines to offset free repair and replacement for existing owners. Still beats having bought other presses back then, that were obsolete and no repair parts available even if one wanted to buy them…

I have used a RL450 since 1983. I once lost a bag full of the small parts during a move. I called and explained my situation and they sent all that I needed and then some. I now have the same RL450 and two 550s. One I bought and the other I got in a trade. They are worth every penny spent for them. A great company that makes quality products. Best wishes!

I have a 750 but not long enough to break anything yet. I have bought several little parts to have as spare.
I have been using a lot of RCBS and Hornady equipment and both of them will replace things under warranty, no questions asked.
If there's a problem. RCBS will go out of their way with personal contact to solve the problem.
As for Dillon, I like what they have but they are overpriced with too high shipping.

As a new Dillion owners (3 years) I haven’t had a reason to call them….yet. But it’s good to know they stand behind their products.

My Rockchucker is 32 years old. I lost the nut that holds the handle on. I couldn’t find the part # online and was a lil frustrated after 30 minutes of searching. I was gonna take the handle to the hardware store and get the right threaded nut but on a whim, I called them. They sent 2, free. They probably thought if I was able to lose 1, I could probably manage to lose another.

I think that’s the 3rd time I called the, the 1st 2 were die issues. Always the same result, free replacement parts even though all 3 times my need for a part was my fault.

If you are close-ish to a Scheel's, they are a Dillon distributor.
Same pricing as the Dillon site, but free ship to store if they don't have it in the store.....:)
I didn't know that, I recently got a Dillon primer pocket swager with free shipping from Scheel's, I thought it was a special for this item only.
Thanks.

Dillion used to claim that they had a NO BS WARRANTY!.. And to date, I have found, this is to be true. Dillion has great customer service.

I will say, it is still worth buying spares on those plastic parts that wear, as they will wear, and you will be doing nothing till the parts arrive.

I've had spare parts for years...started changing a few out, not because of breakage/failure, just to refresh. Old parts are now a backup. then I call Dillon:)

My gunsmith may be the only Dillon user that they charge for repair parts.
Probably because of his habit of telling them what is wrong with the failed part's design and material and how it should be improved so they wouldn't have to replace so many.

I just ask if they can help. Got me a new "crane" but swapping the handle over was a chore.

I figure it is a matter of close accounting, how many warranty calls are less expensive than improving construction and inspection? Not just Dillon, all of the "good customer service" manufacturers.

I've had a 550 since 86. Always good customer service. I bought the spare part kits just so I wouldn't have down time. I broke a case trimmer die I had for close to 30 years. They sent a replacement. The 25-year-old power supply for my case trimmer shorted out. It wasn't covered by the warranty, but at least they had it.

Continuing the good will. Been out of shooting a few years and finally returning to what I love. I found that the buzzer failed in my powder check. The internal microscopic wire broke from the battery contact coil. Asked Dillon for the part number.. nope, free and in the way.
I ordered another complete powder check just so my most used tool head would have it and bought some more ammo boxes. Ammo boxes are a newer style with a much better hinge than my older ones.

No BS still going strong
