I've been loading handgun rounds on a Dillon Square Deal for roughly 28 years. It has had only a couple of minor issues over the decades that have required minor parts along the way.

Recently, a part of the frame itself broke - the cast aluminum bumper that stops the travel of the lever linkage. I guess after a few tens of thousands of rounds, it finally fatigued. Of course, Dillon said, "send it back to us". In the letter that I sent with it, I asked them to please double-check the powder mill mechanism, as a few years back I had to take it apart and smooth out some rough edges for smoother operation.

Got the press back today (I sent it to them 1.5 weeks ago). I can't tell what parts are originally mine. I THINK the linkage attached to the handle was probably mine in the beginning. The entire frame is new of course, but they also replaced the main ram and all its innards (the parts that rotate the shell plate), all the nylon bushings, and they simply gave me an entirely new powder mill and all the updated parts that have been produced since I bought it in roughly 1986. THAT is what you call service.

I look forward to getting another 28 years of life out of this press, and I will continue to recommend Dillon as a company!

That is why you spend a little more and go big blue!

He bought his right after my brother and I bought the ones I have, back then they were $130.

Lifetime no BS is...well no BS. Not sure how they do it but I wish they would expand and start making cars, would be nice to drive a car for 30 years without spending any money to repair it and sell it for twice what you paid for it.
