"Dirty Harry" Magnum Force

That’s a cool jacket. And it looks just like the ones I was thinking about. Who makes that jacket?

Don't know!

Style of the time for "motor" cops.

me of Mad Max, too.

Since this thread began I keep encountering.44 Magnum revolvers at the various gun and sporting goods stores I frequent. Even though I know darn well that my wrists cannot take excessive recoil I have this little part of my mind (probably a little devil) that just keeps saying “Man, wouldn’t it be so cool to have one of those?” Then the little angel or what I sometimes call “the little pain in the @$$ logic guy” says “Hey, you like shooting the guns you have, riding your motorcycle, going fishing and flipping lures, having coordination, manual dexterity and the ability to do pick up objects with little or no pain?” And then I have to relent and walk away.

So far in the past week or so I have encountered:
S&W 629
S&W 69
2 Ruger Super RedHawks
2 Ruger Alaskans
Used model 29 (saw it one day - gone 2 days later)
Taurus Raging Hunter

It’s a conspiracy, I tell ya!

The S&W Model 29 is my absolute favorite gun! I was thrilled to find this mint condition 29-2 a few years back. It didn't even have a turn line at the time, and the graining on the goncalo alves wood grips was particularly nice.

There is nothing more satisfying than relaxing on the 100 yard range with this gun and a cup of coffee. Lining up the sights, lighting off a big'ol 240gr bullet, and hearing that far away 'ting' as you make contact with the target while that long trailing echo from the blast resonates through the hills. Followed up with another sip of coffee, as I watch the smoke gently wisping out from the cylinder and barrrel. I love it!

Ya don't have to load up full-power .44 mag ammo ya know...

If you load your own you can make the ammo whatever you want and there is also .44 Special and .44 Russian, too.

When I get one I'll decide whether to use 200 or 240 gr bullets and load it to about 1200 fps. (Barrel length depending)

I really don't want arthritis.

Since I started this thread I guess I have to accept part of the blame
Lol. Sorry guy:uhoh:

Not a problem at all.

I will just stick to my .45 Colt and .357 Magnum revolvers. :D
