Do any of you "pocket carry"?

Post-1972 Ruger single action revolvers won't go off even if the hammer is cocked, unless the trigger is held fully backwards while the hammer falls. That's because they are equiped with a transfer bar safety.

Jim in Anchorage's method of carry is not unsafe, even in the highly unlikely event that the hammer gets cocked.

This is not the case with most other makes/models of revolvers of this kind.
