Yep...that's true...in my previous post, I was referring to time spent shooting NRA small bore with Winchester 52's, Remington 37's and a cpl of years with an Anschutz using Remington standard velocity target rounds for score, and white box, military for practice. It was good enough to send several team members to the nationals, with two making All-American.Just so it's 100% clear, I'm not going to claim that my experience will definitely apply to shooting absolutely any .22LR ammo in absolutely any .22LR firearm. I could see how a rough bore or certain types of ammo might result in bore fouling.
