I simply stand up and walk out of their office. I refuse to pay someone who asks questions like that.

I cut myself pretty bad at work about a year ago. I went to the local clinic with my Maxpedition man purse, in which I was carrying my Glock 23. I sat in the truck for a minute (bleeding) and removed the pistol and stored it in my truck to go get fixed up. I was not sure how anyone in the clinic would react if I needed to get something out of the bag and they saw the grip. I was cut pretty bad and didn't want to delay treatment by being asked to leave or something. Long story short the doc (who I didn't know from Eve) looks at my bag and asks me if I carry concealed. No questionairre, just a question, and a very direct one at that. I replied Yes, I do. She asks what I carry and I told her. She asked if i had it on me, and i told her no, and why. Then she proceeds to tell me what she carries daily, and how as a Dr. she can't carry in the clinic but I can. She was pretty pissed about it actually. Then we talked supressors (we both own one) while she stitched me up. Then she told me to make sure to bring my pistol in for my return trip to have stitches removed, because she wanted to see it. I have never seen such a shocked nurse. She was speechless the whole time.
