My daughter has a Kel-Tec P32. She lives in a huge city with major crime issues. And yes, she can hit what she aims at. I feel like she's well armed.

32 carry

i carry a .32 seecamp most of the time and a 45 acp officers some of the time. i use an akers pocket holster with the .32--no printing at all. these pistols were/are selling at a premium. bought mine new over 2 yrs ago at a local gunshop for list at the time--399.00--it was in the case. i only shoot it a couple of times per year and clean it 1x month. the weapon is highly reliable with the right ammo (60gr). it is a belly gun, only close range and it can be palmed easily without notice.

.32

Yep - I like it for the size. Everything is a trade off based on what the individual thinks they need and are comfortable with. I have a NAA Guardian that sees a lot of use, but by far, my Walther PP in .32 gets carried more than any of my other guns. Packs easy, 100% reliable, very accurate and carries 9 shots (8+1).

"An old Sheriff was at a local BBQ, when a very liberal (anti-gun) lady approached him and asked, " I see you are wearing a sidearm, are you expecting trouble?" The Sheriff replied, "No, if I was expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle."

My usual summer tote is a currently a J-frame, but in the Texas heat in what I perceive as low threat environments, I'm likely to slip a Beretta New Puma in my hip pocket, along with two spare mags. The gun's in great shape for being 40+ years old and is easier to shoot accurately than a 642 Airweight, although my Model 38 can give it a run for it's money when fired single action. The Beretta's also much easier to carry with the spare ammo than the revolver when backed up by speed strips or speedloaders.

Three decades ago I had a Walther PPK, Nazi proofed, aluminum framed. It had absolutely no finish but functioned fine. Back then I was lean and semi-mean and carried it in an appendix carry. I'd love to have that one back, along with the electroless nickel Combat Commander that sat on my right hip most of the time.

when it is summer and light clothes, I carry a NAA .32 Guardian. It has been very reliable for me. I wish I could afford the Mortgage to buy a Sile Seecamp would require.

Regards,
Mike

KelTec P 32 almost always. Either as primary or bug, depending on how I am dressed. On a rare occassion CZ 70.

SEECAMPS are not much more than your nna guardian. It you have time to look for a 32. BUT the 380 is a different story big$$$$.:D

I'd like to find my P-32. I used to carry it pretty much all the time, except on public property (illegal in GA). I'm hoping it's just lost somewhere in Byron's house...:(

I've got a little Rossi in .32 H&R Mag that I've carried as a bicycling gun. I got pretty good at punching cans while peddling along. Chased off a few aggressive dogs, too. Accurate little gun with hand-loaded SWCs.

Never had a working .32 semi-auto - for long, anyway... .

A .22 usually shoots a bullet that's between 30g and 40gr while a .32 Auto usually shoots a bullet of 60 to 73gr so there's more energy with the .32. The biggest difference is the round itself. The .22LR is a rimfire which can be very undependable and misfire at times. The .32 Auto is a centerfire round which is much more dependable and rarely will misfire. I've shot over 1000 rounds of .32 Auto without a misfire. As a matter of fact I can't remember the last time I had any centerfire round fail to go boom. Sadly I can't say the same about a .22 although rimfire ammo is much more reliable than in the past.

I also have a Tomcat in .380
I don't think I've ever seen a Beretta Tomcat in .380acp. Isn't the Tomcat "model 3032"?
although "Kaboodle" does show a review for a .380 Tomcat...it's slide says ".32".
The Cheetah is in .380acp.

Love my Tomcat Inox. It's my summer carry.

I usually load it with the S&B FMJs as it has been flawless with them. Tried the CorBons for awhile but they seem to want to lock up and are much harder to remove from my magazines.

Great gun for summer and light clothes. Drops into my khaki shorts pocket perfectly, comfortably and is virtually invisible!

My girlfriend really likes it too for it's light recoil. Everyone of my friends that have seen it/shot it really like it too. It has a lot of charm. Most just can't get over the small size.

my Walther PP in .32 gets carried more than any of my other guns. Packs easy, 100% reliable, very accurate

I carry my PP often, especially when it gets warm and my larger CCW's have to stay at home. It hides well and with quality SD ammo I don't feel too undergunned.

. . . and if it was good enough for 007 . . . . :D

My vote is for my everywhere gun - the Kel-Tec P-32, mine made in 1999. 100% reliable, accurate beyond belief for such a small pistol. In Florida and some other tropical climates, it's just not practical to carry a large pistol or even a small revolver for a good part of the year(yes, I've got those, too, but there are limits with tee-shirt, shorts, gym shorts, etc.).

The .32 ACP has taken a lot of bad guys over the years, and run off many more. Tactically, I'll also take eight of .32 over 5 of .38, animals run in packs.

Bottom line: the .32 on you beats the cannon back at the cabin. Also, tactically, there's definitely something to be said for deep concealment.....and surprise. It doesn't have to be the Hammer of Thor if you're situationally aware, mentally prepared, and therefore able to do what you need to do as a situation develops. Let the bad guys be the ones who get the surprise.

I carried a KT .32 for quite awhile; when the PF-9 came out my wife bought me one so she could have the .32. I have been happy with both.

I don't own a .32 right now,

but I would like to buy a semi in .32ACP - A Kel-Tec P32 and,

I would like to buy a revolver in .327 Federal Magnum, probably a 4" CA Patriot.

I've carried a Seecamp 32 and Keltec 32 a lot in the past. Now the Keltec P3AT gets more carry time; it's about the same size with more punch.
