Does anyone use the Hornady ap progressive swag tool ?

Yes. Love it. You can go through a bunch of brass in a hurry, once you get in a rythem. I would recommend that you sort by head stamp though. Hornady uses Bellvel springs to dislodge the swagged brass. Some times the brass can stick but a little sizing wax takes care of the problem, if it accours. I think someone has makes a catcher for the swagged brass so you don't have to handle it.

I have one , but have only used it for .223/5.56 so far.

I would also recommend sorting your brass before running them through. I usually back out the swage depth and insert just one case to determine the amount of swaging I need with the head stamped brass.

Without any 3D printed attachments or other hacks, it is easy to run 600+ cases through in an hour. It's just a matter to coordinating the speed of raising and lowering the handle with dropping and picking up processed cases with the other hand as they pop out of the die

Swaging......that's another thing I've used the Lee APP for. I also have an RCBS bench swager which is very similar to Dillon's bench tool. Of the three....the Lee is way faster with it's case feeder.

But have never used the Hornady press so never used that swager.

So 9mmepiphany, Since you have both the APP and this H. press tool. Have you compared them?

The Hornady is much cooler with 3 dies (Insert, swage, eject) and a shell plate with 5 rods sticking up to hold cases.
You drop a case in and it aligns with a rod, which then moves to the swage die and than from there to the eject die (which catches the case and present it for removal). It's not really designed to be paired with feed tube or a collator. To use it smoothly, you need to use both hands.

I've only swaged 9mmon my APP and the APP is faster because of it's case feeder...just fill the tubes and start pulling the handle. It is a bit more fussy to set up to get the slider to properly place the case...and I'm always worried that the plastic hook on the slider will snap off. The way it ejects the processed case is very clever and the whole process only requires one hand...other than filling the tube/collator. The LNL has a cleaner look because it doesn't have exposed springs and looks more rugged because it's all metal.
The APP is faster and more versatile .

The APP is nice because it isn't limited to the two calibers that the LNL is. I still use my LNL for .223 while using my APP for shorter pistol cases like 9mm and .45ACP

If I didn't already have the LNL, I'd likely have bought the APP and been happy...my only reluctance would have been staring at the five gallon bucket of .223 cases that I needed to swage and not knowing if the APP would hold up
