I just got my shipment of Duble Tap's{ www.doubletapammo.com } recently released 10mm 180 grain GOLD DOT @ 1300fps. I recieved my 8 boxes, on time, and also got some mo0re of the 200 gr xtp's and 1 box of the 230 gr. Duplex load to try out.

For all this, Mike @ Double Tap sent me a kewl T-Shirt:p

Merry 10mm Xmas!

Well, good- what am I saying- great variety of 10mm loads. I tend to think of duplex loads as a gimmick, but if their performance stats are correct- and this stuff is accurate- this will soon be THE 10mm ammo to buy.

I have to agree. The shirt is really cool....

I ordered a set for my whole family but shssss. They are still wrapped for christmas!

"***Has anyone tried them?"

Yep, I've tested both the 165gn & 180gn Golden Saber loads.

Both proved reliable and accurate in several 10mm pistols. The Range Report (including penetration tests & photos) is here:

"How would these loads work in a Glock 29?"

I subsequently shot these same loads through my G-29, and functioning was flawless. Accuracy was good also.

If you're a 10mm fan - or secretly want to be - MCNETT's 10mm t-shirts are really neat:

10mm Good!
Mike Good!
That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I picked up a set of shirts for all of my family to match. It is sort of "revenge" for all of the matching bike shirts my wife bought.

They are cool if you are a 10mm fan!

Is it just me or is that Equalizer round really frickin cool?!? Are there any kinds of legal issues to worry about with those, though?

The "brass jacketed 165 HP" looks like a good bet, if one can control it. (Are those Golden Sabres?)

Yes, DT's reference to the "brass jacketed 165 HP" = Remington's 165gn Golden Saber HPs.

How are the pressures in those loads?
Does the brass show any signs of pressure problems?

I have no qualms about using them in my Glocks and Smith 1006, but I am a wee bit concerned about them in my Deltas.

Thanks in advance,
LoneWulf

MCNETT has stated that his Double Tap ammo is loaded within SAAMI standard pressure limits for the 10mm Auto cartridge.

I lurk at GT and I have no concerns about the quality of McNett's ammo, sorry if it came across that way.

I am just concerned that I might damage my Delta's with full power ammo.
Probably a needless concern, but one I harbor nonetheless.

Thanks guys. :D

I have a Delta Elite that has gobbled up more than a thousand various DoubleTap's in one range session! All loads are below the 37,500psi theshhold. They use a very low flash powder, that burns CLEAN, and are very accurate. The 230gr. Equilizer loading is still considered a JHP for any place state that restricts them, but there are no legal issues with this loading.
