Drawn to a certain bore size?

I seem to have a fair number of rifles that begin with a 4.

I am looking to get a few more handguns that begin with a 4 as well. Probably revolvers.

I have a few SD handguns that have .355-.357 bores.

.22 rimfire is the bore size that I’m enamored with now. Of the last 8-10 guns I’ve purchased all but two were rimfires... six LR and two WMR. The other two were .38 Specials, which comes in a very close second to the rimfires. :)

Stay safe.

I've never thought about it in this way, but maybe I do.
Handguns, I like anything that starts with a 4.
Rifles, 30cal
Plinking, 22cal

All the others, not so much.

Yes, I prefer they start with a "4" = 40 S&W, 10mm, 45 acp
However, I have a Glock 19 that shoots so well that I carry it sometimes.

My favorite is .44. All centerfire iterations of it. I punch paper with .44 Russians, use a lot of .44 Spl in a few different loads, and shoot the Magnums when I need to relax.

To start, anything .22 rimfire. Then for rifle 22 cal and 30 cal. For handguns 38 cal, 44 cal, and 45 cal. Most reason is I reload and the large number of bullet choices in these calibers to taylor my ammo. I have one offs and two offs of others but these tend to be what I buy for calibers.

I was 6.5, when 6.5 wasn’t cool.
I was .35, when .35 wasn’t cool.
I was 28 gauge, when 28 gauge wasn’t cool.
I was 10mm, when 10mm wasn’t cool.
I’ve recently become Hi Power, after Hi Powers weren’t cool...

Hell, I’m just, plain cool!!!
No you are just a trend setter

For rifles I tend to be drawn to .30 cal and the .224 because there are so many different cartridges that use both calibers. Lately I have also been thinking about 6.5. Not sure I will move in that direction yet.

Odd but I think I have one of just about every caliber from .17-.510, except .277, might have to fix that...
