with one of their sales, this time an extended Valentines Day sale with 15% off for promo code.
I have acquired another Ruger NM Blackhawk Flat Top, this time in 44 Mag. I didn't have either a cartridge belt nor a cross draw for the 6"+ barrel length, so I went for the 2 1/4" Texas belt with 24 loops and the "Crossdraw" holster. I didn't add any tooling. For cross draw I like to wear a separate belt, slung a bit lower. I don't get to wear this kind of rig very often, but frankly I collect nice holsters as much as the guns, different colors and different modes of carry for each type of gun. This latest is part of the matching up of revolver cartridge carbines with a sidearm. My 44 rifle is a nice Marlin.

I bought my first El Paso years ago for a DA revolver. Excellent quality at a fair price. Post a picture when you get it!

My first El Paso Saddlery holsters are from a nice fellow over in the Carolinas; a formalwear black and a daily tan leather pancake for a sweet Model 696 that presently is in surgery in Texas...

;)
