Got one yesterday after a 6 month wait.
Finally.
However I am not sure my July submissions will be as 'quick', LOL.

6 months and you say finally lol! That's a breeze. You're right our July submissions will probably be another 6-8 months out. Gratz on getting that one back though, what was it? A can?

Longest wait for me yet, but I understand that it was not put in at an ideal time. More ideal than the others but understand it.

It was a 20 gauge O/U SBS. May get some pictures up in the next few days or so.

Called the NFA branch today...

Osprey .45, local dealer
purchased Jan 30th,
Transfer to dealer early April,
Form 4 Sent April 13th,
Card charged April 20th
Pending April 22
Form 4 Approved December 8th.

Wooo!

Now I need to buy a threaded barrel for my 1911...

My buddy who is on my trust with me had his late June (i believe the 26th) sbr form 1 come in a few days ago. Still no word on his form 4 for the suppressor though, or either of my form 1's from July 4th. But it could be soon!

Out of curiosity, was your pal's Form 1 paper or eform? I submitted an eFormed 1 in early July, so I am curious. Thanks.

I have an eform 1 from early June that's still in Limbo, and I'll tell you why...

...THE WAIT, IS TOO. DAMN. HIGH!

With the panic of an electing the wrong person for POTUS over, and the onerous process of purchasing on a trust, do you all think that the wait time will drop significantly after the backlog from 41F clears up?

I am thinking we may be back to a month or two being normal once the worst is over.

I went through the Silencer Shop and the old style trust. 8 months. I don't expect anything to change. Nobody there wants to be accused of rushing anything.

I would think so as well. Assuming it takes a few extra months for the big rush, I bet people who filed in late fall will get a fairly quick turn around (for ATF standards).

Starting to see a lot of approved forms being reported that were submitted from the 1st and 2nd week of June. I figure that is the beginning date of the big push for most to beat the July deadline.

Don't figure we are down to one more month yet, but I am thinking some might get lucky sooner than I expected........................

Ok, following NFA tracker and it now looks like forms submitted during the last two weeks of June are getting approved. E-File seems to be the ones with the latest June dates.

Figuring that are into the panic submissions and probably starting to get into the massive stacks of forms they got in the last two weeks before the deadline.

I personally expect the date progression to slow way down, but the number of approvals to stay constant. Some may get lucky and see their stamps a month ahead of some others that sent their paperwork in at basially the same time.

Anybody get anything lately?

I tried to beat the 41F changes with my last 2 applications (done the same day) - don't know how far ahead of the last minute rush I may have been, but I knew a lot of folks were going to wait right up until the last day before 41F changes to apply.

For all three times I've applied, The Silencer Shop's wait times have been on the money.

My Latest Experience (received 3 weeks ago):
Type: Form 4 Paper Trust
Mailed: 5-10-16
Stamps Received: 1-18-17
Total Wait Time: 8 months, 1 week, 1 day

I got caught up in the first rush a few years back - my original silencers took 8 months, 2 weeks, 2 days.
After that rush was over, I purchased another and it only took 3 months, 1 week, 2 days for approval, but somebody left it on their desk a while - took 4 months, 3 weeks, 2 days to arrive.

Efiled Form 1
Submitted 6-17
Approved 2-13

This was pre-41F by just a few days. Not my longest wait. Still better than my first stamps that were 10 months each.

I'll be interested to see what happens to the wait once the wave of pre-41 forms are processed, sounds like we are getting close. I'm betting there will be a drastic drop in wait times in the next 3-4 months.

I submitted two Form 4s for a friend the first week of June last year. The stamps showed up on Monday so they took about 9 months!!!

Nice! I'm still waiting on my e-file form 1 from July 8th :(

The check for my can was cashed in July too so... maybe next month but I'm sure July is the most submissions ever.
