yes i agree, here my life time license was 102.00 at 65. but come down to the lower 48 and go on a good elk hunt with a outfitter for two weeks, drive or fly from alaska. you will rack up a nice bill. if you ticket shop you can get a round trip ticket for 1200-1300 from pa. to south africa and its cheaper to stay and eat, one U.S. dollar- 11.5 rand. you pay for the animals you shoot and at the small ranchs you can get a good price on them. when i was not hunting i stayed in petori at a friends motel for 40.00 a day and i paid the hunter(a friend) 100.00 a day hunting. i,ll admitt if you know or have good friend there things are cheaper, but it can be the same any where you hunt. you will not see the amount of wild life any where in the world that you will in africa. i have made three trips to africa,spending just about three months hunting there, going to botswana,kenya and nibia and made friends for life that i talk or e-mail to just about every week. eastbank.
