Fed Hydra Shoks ?

I was graciously given a few 230 gr. 45acp JHP projectiles that have the same post in it's middle as Federal Hydra Shoks. I wasn't aware that Federal ever offered these to the public as a reloading component, unless another maker also produces them. If anyone has loaded these, what OAL did you go with ? If anyone has some factory loaded Federal 45acp 230 gr. Hydra Shok, I'd also appreciate their OAL. Am leaning towards about 1.22 ". Thoughts ? Thanks.

Mine measure 1.2105 inches from a factory load. 1.22 is fine.

I'm a big fan of Fed's Hydra Shok bullets. What frustrates me is that i have never seen them (projectiles only) available to the public to reload! If anybody out there knows were to get'em please let us know!
