I didn't think it would happen. I had almost given up on IWB. Early experiences were that the gun printed too much unless I wore a tee shirt with a long untucked, unbuttoned shirt over the top -- in which case I might as well carry OWB with more comfort and convenience. Recently, I had another go at IWB as I desperately wanted to have my Glock 23 as my concealed carry gun when I went on vacation.

First of all, I changed the clip positions on the Crossbreed Supertuck so that the holster was deeper in the pants. I moved it further back to about the 5:00 position (3:00 or 4:00 previously). I changed the cant to a more forwards inclination. To my surprise, it now worked in ordinary clothes.

Message is, don't give up too easily on IWB but explore different holster settings and clock positions.

to be delighted with IWB I recommend 4-5 o'clock, sweet there with no printing
I agree wholeheartedly. For IWB, I once used a TT Gunleather Mikes Special for an SP101, and then a 642 or 637. Later a Comp-Tac MTAC Minotaur for my G19. With the front loop or clip just aft of the 3 o'clock belt loop give or take a half inch or so, with a little forward cant, it was golden. Just a little trial and error.

I don't really see the value of IWB unless one is wearing a tucked in shirt. I carry OWB and with a good holster printing is not an issue. If there is any bulge it is certainly not in the shape of a gun. OWB is just much more comfortable. A regular length button up shirt is plenty long enough in my experience.

The IWB advantage is for a longer barreled pistol.

If you are carrying a little pistol like a LCR/LCP, or a G27 there probably isn't much difference since the muzzle is going to be just below the bottom of the belt and the length of cover garment wouldn't make much difference.

If you are carrying a Government model 1911, or a Beretta 92FS, or some other full size gun, IWB would be a big advantage as far as the length of cover garment required.
