six of us went to the trap range yesterday at 2:00pm, it was to be 40-42 degrees but it turned out to be 33-34 degrees and a little windy. the pat trap took a little while to warm up, but we got to shoot two rounds. no one set the world afire, but i managed to shoot first a 22-25 and than a 22-25 on the second round. on the second round i broke the first 21 and then missed the next three(i blamed the wind and cold) and broke the 25th one, winning the high score beer. i took a hot coffee instead. this is the first time we shot together as a group since oct. if felt good as they are a good group. eastbank.

I got the jump on you, brother. I shot on New year's Day!
The guys set up an informal sporting clays course at a nearby trap club. We didn't even keep score, but I would guess that I broke around 80. I ran some stations and blew some.
I didn't bring my trapgun but I shot a couple rounds with the clays gun, 23 and 24. I thought I would run the second trap, but I had stretched a rubber band over my eject port so I wouldn't have my a$$ in the air picking up empties. I was still fumbling around trying to dig out an empty when it dawned on me that it was my shot, so......pull...lost!
It doesn't take much anymore!

Good shooting eastbank.
5 of us shot 3 rounds Saturday. Temp was mid to high 50's. No warm up needed for the trap but I can't say the same for some of us. One guy forgot to change chokes from IC he uses for skeet. Ha... He managed only 4 hits the first round. He really got steamed when I told him he hit more than I missed.

Nothing Serious, But a Friend and I took out a 20 Gauge single shot to put through it's paces on the 13th. 2 boxes of clays, 200 rounds and a day full of fun. It was mid 20's and we were contending with the ice on the club's manual thrower, but it was quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Howdy

We shoot all year round at my club. The sun sets so early at this time of year we start loosing targets in the shadows by 3:00 PM or so. Last time I was out was a week or so before Christmas. Been under the weather for the last couple of weeks so I'm not going to stand there freezing my butt off until I feel a little bit better.
