yesterday i shot two quick rounds of trap, i just grabbed my BT-100 and two boxes of federal promo walmart target loads and went to the trap range; it was windy and cloudy spitting rain but we decided to shoot a few rounds. i shot a 23-25 with the IM choke on the first round and for the second round i put a IC choke in and shot a 22-25. the three i missed were not missed because of the IC choke, but shooter error. the trap is a new pat trap set up as per regular trap. eastbank.

Interesting....
I've been thinking of switching to an IM choke for the SC coarse I've been shooting locally. I've been using a mod choke but the clays are much further than my normal practice distance. I probably just need to shoot more but that's not a bad thing or a choke thing I guess.

I've done fairly well with skeet choke at the 16 yard, but my regular trap M12 Winchester has a modified barrel on it that will crush targets at the 27 and beyond with good AA or Premier shells. Pattern board can tell a person a lot about his barrel and selected loads.

Had a choke tube once that I would just suddenly miss a target I could of swore I was all over. Took me a while to figure it out, for some reason on the pattern board, about every other shot there was a decent size hole in the pattern 4-8" near the center and a little left when the rest of the pattern had shot every 1/2" in a 30" circle.
