I've had the 9C for a while, and it's one of my primary carry guns. I had a couple of FTF issues out of the box. FNS' customer service suggested that putting a couple of hundred rounds through it would solve the problem, and it did. I haven't had a malfunction since then, with thousands of rounds through it. It handles recoil well, is accurate and ergonomically it fits me well.
I also have a P226. We're comparing a striker fired compact gun to a full size hammer fired gun, so there are obvious differences, but the FNS has been every bit as reliable as the Sig. The Sig, having a longer barrel, for me is a little more accurate although the FNS is as accurate as any compact gun I own. If you're looking at the full size FNS I don't know that that will be an issue. My FNS is a keeper. I'd recommend it strongly.
