friendly little challange

I'm putting this up on the forums I frequent for a little fun.

your EDC, 1 mag, dime sized target on a 3x5 card, 10 yards, hit the dime free hand (no bench rest) have fun good luck , do better than me

If my everyday carry gun was a S&W Model 52 then I'd be in. With my actual gun (5 shot J frame) I'm not sure I could even hit the CARD at 10 yards.

I actually surprised myself at 10 yards with my J frame .38. Pure luck I"m sure. I"ll try the index card next time out,with my 1911,with any luck i'll at least hit the card.

With my full size carry gun I MIGHT be able to hit the CARD at 10yrds, the dime would be pure luck.

But, at least I'd have 19 shots to try.

It would have been fun years ago for me. At this stage in life I would be lucky to hit the card using my Gold Cup.

the starting picture was done with a 3.5# Ghost rocket, 6lb trigger spring,stock striker, and reduced power plunger spring, this morning was shot with the stock connector, 6lb trigger and striker spring and reduced power plunger, very different feel on the break and it shows.



then I shot a mag from my wife's Shield for this one



My wife came out looked and fired a mag full said good enough and went back in the house, she hasn't fired a shot in six months and does this

LCR, 10 shots from a DAO .40 S&W (2 didn't make the card), and 6 from a 4" K frame (wanted to hit the dime with my 6th shot and adjusted too much). Cool challenge, had to check some long gun optics for upcoming hunting season, and this added some fun, thanks for throwing this out there.

I'll play.

Over the summer I sort of got into just stopping by the range and going through two magazines, ten rounds each, with my EDC. Can't say I made it a bunch of times, but I probably shot more than I would have otherwise. So here's what I did today.

Here's the first magazine.



And here's the second...



I did much better on it. The little handful at the top is a Glock 29.
