No. It is a striker spring, if I remember correctly. I have never installed one of them in any of my guns in which I have used Wolff recoil springs and rods.
By the way, getting the 22# spring in the first time is a b*****, but once you get it in and let it set for a little while, it will get better...and so will reliability after more than a few rounds. This set-up will require rounds on the hot side and unfortunately there is an over-abundance of weak 10mm being sold out there. Keep your factory set-up for the times you shoot this weak stuff. For more stout stuff at a reasonable price, check out Reed's Ammunition and Research. They don't always have 10mm available, but when they do, it is definitely worth buying -- quality stuff.
And you probably already know this, but if you wish to reload you might want to consider an aftermarket barrel with full chamber support and standard rifling. You can reload with the factory barrel, but only so many times before the brass cannot be trusted. Years ago, McNett told me over the phone that you should not reload brass more than three times with a factory Glock barrel...but you can do it like 20 times with a quality aftermarket barrel.
