Gerber Knife, cant find model number

can someone identify this gerber knife

its alteast 10 inch long (more like 12), and blade extends till the end of the handle

We need a picture of the entire knife to be sure what it is, but I think it is a fake. Gerber wouldn't break their name/logo over the grind like that.
 
I agree that it looks like a Sheridan, but if you look at the logo on legitimate Sheridan's you'll see that they're all properly proportioned and sit on the flat of the ricasso. Oversized counterfeit logos are a typical giveaway for counterfeit knives.

i also emailed gerber support, and they also identified it as counterfeit

Sorry 'bout that.

Any uneven logo placement should raise questions even if everything else looks perfect. Also, if a mass market knife should come in a box or clam/blister pack and it comes in the machined parts tubes/sleeves you should immediately be suspicious. Some high end mid-techs may, but a Gerber or Spyderco won't.
