As with so many other progressive presses, weakness is the operator. So you have a 650, what do you think the weakness is
Apparently. Was running the primers around in a half circle making them dizzy?
I like the fact that you can't stop the video and back it up to get a good look at the primer system on it. Looks like a Hornady primer system to me. I watched it three times. I had to keep logging back into THR because even when I hit pause at the primer system, the video kept on going.
Yep, just teasing us.It's like they didn't want us to get a good look at it.
Yup, teaser video...but a pretty well done one and addressed all the upgrades that they wanted potential purchasers to be aware ofYep, just teasing us.
Yup....I might have to get me one of those for my Pro Chucker 7! My home made one only works for the Pro 2000. I'll hit it with yellow gamma rays to turn it green.I thought the variable speed case feed was rather interesting
So you have a 650, what do you think the weakness is....stroking too fast? Federal Primers? Both?
I think the part that wears and gives problems, if I remember right, is the plastic end piece at the bottom of the primer tube.....no I was thinking of the primer pickups...they are removed once placed in the machine, so it's a mystery. Jmorris, what did you find that caused your friend's bright and loud experience?
But do drivers of Ferrari and Lamborghini care about price? Only the very best for my Dillon 650.The upgrade kit is too pricey for me!
You get to play with the knob. What would a variable speed case feed do for you.
You get to play with the knob.
I believe it is so you can adjust the speed of the plate to prevent upside down case depending on length of the case.
Do the Dillon case feeders not run as fast, as in RPMs, as the Hornady's case feeders do?
