Getting back in the Black Powder Muzzleloader Rifle spirit lately so was digging out my ML's and checking them and found that the double set trigger was not working correctly on my roundball rifle, a CVA .50cal St. Lois Hawkins. Knew it couldn't be to much as most double set triggers are pretty simple. So took the whole rifle apart, disassembled the lock, cleaned well, deburred and oiled well and put it back together, did the same thing with the double set triggers, wished I could of replaced the two roll pins but didn't want to fire up the metal lathe (future project), reassembled the rifle and 100% working. Think I might go deer hunting during muzzleloader season and see what happens. Now to do tune ups and a couple of more. Not to self sell the inline, I love traditional style rifles to much...and see if I can find a black powder muzzleloading shotgun :)

Good stuff Jim.
These things are jist way too much fun.
I just recently sold my front loader scatter gun and i think i'm startin to regret it.

Yea have done that ball with no powder routine in the past not much fun :banghead:
