Glock 19 Gen 4 Magazines

Does the Glock 19 Gen 4 use the same magazines as earlier G19s? I know they made the grip smaller.

Yes, although the older magazines only work with the magazine release on the traditional side

Glock magazines.

Gen1 = NFML
Gen2 = FML
Gen3 = FML with ambi-mag release cut
Gen4 = FML with ambi-mag release cut and reversable mag release cut

Glock magazine gen compatibility:
*If the Glock has the standard magazine release, then it can use all generations of Glock magazines. (Gen1-Gen4)
*If the Glock has the ambi-magazine release, then it can only use the newer generations of Glock magazines. (Gen3-Gen4)
*If the Glock has the reversable magazine release set up on the standard side, then it can use all generations of Glock magazines. (Gen1-Gen4)
*If the Glock has the reversable magazine release set up on the non-standard side, then it can only use the newest generation of Glock magazines. (Gen4)
