Good point/ I hear a lot on the "chambered vs. unchambered" threads that carrying unchambered is like not having a gun at all. This of course is nonsense, since if you don't have a gun, there is no quick motion you can do to make you all of a sudden have a gun. With an unchambered gun you CAN just do one quick motion, and it's chambered. Not the best way of carrying, obviously. But nowhere close to not carrying at all.
