It is with deep regret and sadness that I have to announce this, but we have lost a member of The High Road (and a great personal friend of mine) all too soon in life:

MaxSE PT99
Jonathan Scott
Corporal
Harrisburg Mall Department Of Public Safety
Harrisburg, PA
Born: November 21, 1984
Died: October 27, 2004

Several weeks ago, while off duty, Jon had a tragic personal accident. During his recovery, he passed away due to medical complications.

Jon was a good friend and respected fellow officer to all us of that worked with him. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all those who knew him - family, friends, and fellow officers.

I felt that even though many of us here have and probably will never meet face to face, this should be posted since we are all part of a brother/sister-hood here.

Rest In Peace, Jon. We know you have taken The High Road to our Lord and Saviour, and that you are once again, whole, recovered, and free from the pain you have suffered.

Sincerely,
Matthew A. Webb
Officer
Harrisburg Mall Department Of Public Safety
Harrisburg, PA

I’m very sorry. My condolences go out to Mr. Scott's friends and family.

Goodbye and God Bless, Corporal Scott ! Our prayers are with his family and friends.

RIP

Its scary to think that you never know when your number is up, I was born the same year so it hits me hard to think he was so young. Send my reguards to the family, show them that we care.

As others have said, my family's heart and minds go out to this family. Life is such a great gift that we must live to the fullest daily. RIP brother for now you are in the hands of your God.

very sad

lwords, at a loss at times like this,
God Bless the family.
Shelby Co, Tn. lost one today on the way to work in a car wreck, around 0630 on 29 Oct 04. Wrecked with 2 students from the school he was enroute to.
I feel very bad over stuff /events like this.

Two communities, one online and the other in NC both lost a great member. My thoughts are with the friends and family of both.

It is sad to hear of anyone's death, sadder still when it is a young kid like that with so much ahead of him. I am sorry for your loss, I am sorry for his family's loss. May you forget the hurt but never the memories.

:(

I take it pretty hard when someone on THR passes on, but this is especially striking because he was younger than I am. That sure puts things into perspective.

:(

So very sad.
Wes
