Inspired by a post in Autoloaders.

What are some manufacturer-given appellations that you find silly, amusing, cumbersome, or just irritating?

The Taurus "Raging Bee" came immediately to my mind.

And just between you and me, I've always thought "Glock" was a weird name. :D

Grendel-who names a pistol after the villian of Beowulf?

What about the EAA Windicator?

Started out as the Vindicator but someone else already owned that name.

TANFOGLIO

To be read in you best Circus Ring Master voice:

"Ladies and Gentalmen please turn your attention to center ring and witness the amazing acts of the great Tanfoglio."

 That's the picture I always get when I hear that name.

I have to second the Mannlicher. That just can't be pronounced how I think it's pronounced.

Man-licker and Bush-master are tops in my book. :D

(Sorry, Mrs. Eatman, but the man did ask.)

Whenever I've heard "Manurhin" pronounced, it sounds as though someone is referring to liquid bodily waste.

Those kooky French!

Then there's the Danish "Bang" rifle; I'm surprised no one ever developed one called the "Pow".
