Goofy Gun Names

Inspired by a post in Autoloaders.

What are some manufacturer-given appellations that you find silly, amusing, cumbersome, or just irritating?

The Taurus "Raging Bee" came immediately to my mind.

And just between you and me, I've always thought "Glock" was a weird name.

Just a pretentious way of jumping the price another 25%.

Even though I plan to buy one, Llama always struck me as weird. Next, someone will name a gun "Camel" or "Ostridge."

I've always liked the acronym OICW... IMHO, it stands for "Oh, I Can't Win!"

The oddest one I've ever heard of was "Dissapator"....

When I first heard it, I thought, "Great. A gun that evaporates when you shoot it..."

Best name: .357 Atomic (another name for the .357 Maximum)...

I think the term "Mannlicher" sounds disgusting. It certainly sounds goofy to me.

That's the picture I always get when I hear that name.

Then there's the Danish "Bang" rifle; I'm surprised no one ever developed one called the "Pow".
