Last week I took my sister to the indoor range and today I took a friend to the outdoor range. She had fired a .22 before but this was her first time using an ak type. A water bottle target dodged her shots well so she let me take it out. A trend I've noticed is that the most athletic outdoorsy types seem less willing to try shooting than the less athletic types.

Why is it that so many people feel the need to pull the odd stretched out hunch when firing AKs? I have longer arms than most people and I'm about 6'1" and I never have a problem getting down on the stock.
