Allan Gottlieb, founder of 2a foundation is on orielly factor right now. Just a heads up to any that may want to watch. NRA would not provide a spokesperson for the show.

That was sickening, Bill O'rielly just attack Gottlieb for about 5 minutes on why other places like Australia and Canadas gun laws are better than ours. Its amazing how these news shows are setup to promote junk propaganda. I seen them do it to Ron Paul for years and now they just did it to Allan Gottlieb.

I guess I get to miss this one. My kids lost my TV remote.

Oh well, I have a pretty good idea how this went down.

Once again.. "where is the NRA?"

Sigh.

Someone has to be the bad guy, its trendy media to slam people's hobbies or interests to further their agendas. It is not surprising the NRA is keeping silent about this right now, this whole situation is disgusting how the media is eating it up.

Bill was very disappointing. If you understand why the 2nd Am was adopted, all the discussion regarding what weapons are appropriate is moot.
Better to remain silent and appear a fool than to speak and look like Bill O did.

I liked the part where O'Riley said Americans owning Assault rifles would be useless. When the troops come to pick up the gun they will take them. There could also be another Lexington Bridge.

Bill seemed pretty smug, saying that an assault rifle wouldn't help once troops showed up to take weapons from a home. He may have a point, but it is a bloody one. Americans shooting Americans, that is civil war and I don't relish it one bit.

I heard that too, its ridiculous. I couldn't believe my ears, nearly the whole show was unbearable.

The only reason O'Reilly is no spin is because he keeps alternating his rotation direction. When he faces left he spins right, and facing right he spins left. Its a negation effect. If he would just hold still everyone would see him for what he's become, just an old talking head bore.

ALL of the media is against the 2nd amendment. Rights of hunters? Really? Even some of these professed "hunters" on TV don't know that AR's are used for hunting apparently. I'd rather have something more than a bolt action or 10 round magazine when a sounder of wild hogs decides to bolt. FOX news is no different. Whether it's deliberate disinformation or just ignorance of the subject at hand, it doesn't make a difference. They are not "with us" at all. To talk about how the "gun laws" in Australia or Britain or whatever is a joke. Those laws are Draconian at BEST. Citizens (subjects?) in those countries are not allowed to have them in any practical way. Either the media does not know this, or they are trying to make that seem "normal" to the masses here in the U.S. Even Israel and Switzerland have strict gun laws, despite the hype put out about it. If you are a private citizen in those coutries, good luck trying to get a pistol, or ammo for it in any reasonable amount. The gun laws ALL of those countries have are exactly what we don't want...there is no mainstream media "help" or "objectivity" on this...Not from O'Reilly or Fox (Hannity is the only one who calls out the "false facts" for what they are, Fox should study the issues at hand like he obviously does, he does his homework), and especially not from CNN or the others...

Yes it is. The first time in ALL of this coverage that I've heard some logic and real facts.

Did anyone really feel that Rupert Murdoch was an American patriot? On our side? The political grandstanding is absolutely sickening, and what is happening to the press more so!

I've not yet donated to the 2A Foundation but after Allan Gottlieb's treatment on the show I'm gonna make my first donation now. Its sickening how those "gotcha" questions are planned.

I don't understand...if you have kids, you always have a remote control, in your case several.:D

I don't have a lot of trust in the NRA although I support them. However, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in terms of strategy at the present time. We need them to use facts and emotion when they come out...not just one or the other.

- "NRA would not provide a spokesperson for the show."

DISTRA - "IMHO this is not good. It appears that we are head in sand.[sic]"

Not at all. The NRA spokemen have dealt with that mind blown, rude, overbearing, boor O'Reilly, before. They know full well that he sets up someone with whom he disagrees, vomits out all his and the Left's usual lies, disinformation, misinformation and nonsense, then when the spokeman tries to answer, he interrupts every three words, loudly, condescendingly, and constantly.

Therefore the spokesman is effectively silenced and there is never any way whatsoever to rebutt that obnoxious, arrogant old fool, Bill O'Reilly. It is a 100% losing game for any pro-Second Amendment person to go on the show.

The Prime Minster Of Australia has called on Obama to move on a gun Ban. He said they took care of it pronto Down Under. These SOBs should stay the Hell out of our affairs. The Australians have turned there guns in and they have been burned up. Hey PM this is America it won't be that easy here.:neener:

When I was a kid you actually had to get up and walk to the TV to change channels ;)
