Gun Cloth

Of course after using the gun cloth it gets filthy and i suppose washing it wopould ruin it,do you just keep using the cloth even after a lot of black stains are on it?i do but is that right?
 
Historically I retire the older dirtier cloths to my range bag, not sure what washing them would do but if I were to wash it I would do it by hand.
 
Are you talking about the Silicone type?
I normal only use them on all ready cleaned firearms.
It will leave a film on them the help protect it.

If it does get real dirty, I would buy a new one.
 
Silicone cloths are the greatest thing since the noncorrosive primer! I use them on just-cleaned handguns until they get pretty grungy. Then I buy another, more on general principle than anything else. I suppose one could wash them and then spray them with silicone, but . . . NEW ONES ARE SO CHEAP!
