Thank you. here's a pic of my other 1862 Navy with a couple of Dells holsters to hold you over until then!dickydalton
That's one fine looking Colt 3rd Model Dragoon you've got there! Please post photos of the Pocket Navy Model when you get it back (one of my favorites along with the Model 1860).
Oh.....I like that picture. Here's my contribution to an aces and eights shot along with a Colt 2nd gen pocket police and a Colt 3rd gen 1849.

Cheers
Very very nice.
I was going to say the top as well. But Fingers beat me to it.You know...you are a professional expert level collector and this is child's play for you.
Clembert, took a second to decipher the background and figure out the "Walkers" pun...top notch! As a long term zombie survival tool BP guns would be sustainable (make your own powder, cast lead, as long as you had caps, you stay alive)...and a minimum of four Walkers for handling groups. They can't bite you if they can't see you through the smoke!

It can be very dangerous to do so.I've always wanted to make my own powder.
I won't try it without you!It can be very dangerous to do so.
I'm very confused about this. What's with the wax?View attachment 790542 Top is wax...451....454 from the newest pistol. The nipples need to be changed unless I find smaller caps that fit better. Also...I need to polish the cylinder locking lug.
I was using some of the wax bullets that the quick draw guys shoot.I'm very confused about this. What's with the wax?
