I like a AK that conforms closely to the original design, not sum butchered up add on stuff. Look into Arsenal for a few more bucks or Vector for a little less.
+10 for JWarren. I also thought about building my own but it soon became apparent that the cost - kit + receiver + tools just wasn't worth it for one AK.
Build parties would be great, but again, none to be found in my area. There are some really good builders on AKFiles.com, and you can buy with confidence about getting a nice AK at a reasonable price. Something that you will be happy with.
if shipping is included, then thats about how much it is worth give or take a $20 bill or two at worst. Either way, you can find some much cheaper tactical set-ups like that that are about 100-150 bucks cheaper and dont look like abominations.
