Now I know it may be old hat to complain about firearms in movies, but I saw a couple of real whoppers in this one.
First, Colin Farrell is in pistol training and puts 10 out 10 in the X ring. Looks at the lovely lass in the next lane, shrugs, and says "Nintendo".
Hey nimrod, did the "Nintendo gun" have any recoil? Well neither did the movie gun. Ridiculous.
Then, Al Pacino gives Farrell a Glock. No extra mags. Said Glock over the course of the movie proceeds to fire about 75 rounds. Nuff said, except I want one of the "magic Glocks" myself.
I think I OD'd on gun movies yesterday, since the GF is out of town. Saw "Open Range", then "The Recruit" and "Narc". Funny scene in "Narc" where a gangsta tries to smoke some dope out of a pistol-grip shotty (I'm not kidding) and forgets there's one in the chamber!
