I tried this once before, and it was a dismal failure, so I'll try one more time.
We've all seen the image of funny captions on LE hand signals (If you haven't, one can be found in the second post here: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45981).
That looks like a professionally made image, and I doubt that it was produced by the same goon(s) that came up with the wiseacre comments underneath. Does anyone know where I could find that image or one much like it with the actual interpretations of the signals? Or does anyone here recognize them well enough to describe their meaning to me? I've searched all over the 'net, and every time I think I've got it, it's the joke one.
I understand that there's no universal handbook for this sort of thing, and different organizations and societies might use the same sign to mean different things. I have no problem with that. I'd just like to find some sort of resource that would allow me to identify these signals at least some of the time when I see them on TV or in movies.
A buddy had a video game (One of the "SWAT" series, I think it was 2) where you were at times called upon to interpret or use these signals, but I never played it and the game is now gone.
