My wheel guns.

The top breaks are a H&R 999 and a Smith & Wesson 38 New Departure Safety Hammerless. The single actions are a Ruger Single Six convertible, and a Armi Jager .357 buntline. The DA revolvers are a Smith 686-6, Smith 30-1, and a RG32 (32 long) my grandmother carried in her cigarette pouch for the better part of 50 years. It started traveling with her regularly the day Granddaddy got drafted to go to Korea.

Most gun nuts take great pride in their collect. Unfortunately over the years the glass gun cabinets which where prominently displayed in the family room or den had to be replaced with gun safes hidden in closets or special rooms far from prying eyes.
While I realize the OP above is from 2 years ago, not everybody has to go to the extent he refers to in the first part of his post.
I'm a widower with no kids and I still use a wood & glass cabinet for all but two of my long guns and only two of my handguns. The other two long guns are mounted on a wall rack next to the bed - a 12 ga. SxS and an AK. I also have a .357 in its holster hanging from the rack. The remaining four handguns are stashed around the house where they are readily accessible and ready for use.

If kids were involved, then I probably have a safe as well.

Traded this one years ago, but it was a fun pistol.

Just a coupla Berettas ...

Berettas2_zpsf1maedom.jpg
I can relate to that.
( the Desert Eagle .44 MkVII safety operates in the same direction as the Berettas, save for the 21A Bobcat ).
I unloaded a Tomcat 3032 and my 84F for the Mini Cougar 8040F and have since acquired a full-size 8040F.
That's two 96's, one a Centurion.
A NEOS 7.5" ( have the Carbine kit, a 4.5" bbl. and a 6" pistol ).
The Helwan and Centurion were bought the same day, back when I had an FFL.
Love those Berettas.
The DE44 is a literal blast to shoot, too!
Great thread. So many nice, unusual and rare firearms. Fun to look at what each of us is 'into'.

QUOTE]

I love the Helwan- My wife bought me this for our anniversary this year. I had it out to the range just yesterday! The picture is rapid-fire at seven yards- two magazines from the Weaver Modified, two strong-hand and two weak-hand.
